CANCELLATION OF THE IGGP OPEN SESSION IN PARIS
Including the public presentation of Geopark new applications
Putting safety first is the UNESCO’s priority, especially in this uncertain and rapidly evolving situation.
This latest information is rather worrying. The risks and uncertainties associated with corona virus spread calls for precautionary measures, especially with people travelling across the world.
In light of this challenging un-predictable health situation, after several consultations with relevant services, it is with deep regret that the UNESCO Science Sector have taken the decision for the cancelation of all Science related meetings during March
Thus the IGGP Open Session and the presentation of the New Applications for UNESCO Global Geoparks is cancelled.
